Before joining Decof & Decof in August 2010, Mr. Chabot served as a judicial law clerk for Associate Justice Francis X. Flaherty of the Rhode Island Supreme Court. Prior to serving as a law clerk, Mr. Chabot practiced as a student attorney for the Rhode Island Public Defender’s Office and for the Bristol County District Attorney’s Office in Taunton, Massachusetts.
Mr. Chabot is a magna cum laude graduate of Suffolk University Law School (J.D., 2009). At Suffolk, Mr. Chabot was the Associate Executive Editor of the Law Review. As the Associate Executive Editor, Mr. Chabot supervised Law Review editors and staff in developing student-written notes and comments for the Law Review. Mr. Chabot is a graduate of Providence College (B.A., 2002) where he majored in history with a minor in political science.
Mr. Chabot practices in the fields of medical malpractice, wrongful death, premises liability and personal injury litigation.
Attorney Chabot is admitted to practice law in the State of Rhode Island and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Mr. Chabot is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the District of Rhode Island.
Mr. Chabot is a member of the Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and American Bar Associations. He is also a member of the Rhode Island Association for Justice.
