Providence, Rhode Island – February 18, 2014 – Decof, Decof & Barry P.C., a pre-eminent personal injury law firm in the New England area, is pleased to announce that four of its attorneys have been named to the 2013 Super Lawyers list. After being evaluated on 12 indicators of peer recognition and professional achievement, Mark B. Decof Esq. and Patrick C. Barry Esq. were named to the Super Lawyers list while Michael Quinn Esq. and Douglas Chabot Esq. were named to the Super Lawyers Rising Stars list, reserved for attorneys age 40 and under or those in practice 10 years or less.

Principal shareholder and senior trial lawyer Mr. Decof is a founding partner of the firm, established in 1975, and has been actively engaged in litigation for more than 30 years. Mr. Barry, newly-named firm partner, began with Decof & Decof in 1997 and is recognized as an accomplished trial lawyer and patient safety advocate. Since joining the firm in 2010, Mr. Quinn has been a key resource in the fields of medical malpractice, wrongful death, and personal injury litigation. Mr. Chabot joined the firm in 2010 as well, and like its other attorneys, represents parents, children and families who have suffered unthinkable losses.

The 2013 New England Super Lawyers list was announced in November, as it is each year. “Meant to aid the public in selecting an attorney, the highly-selective Super Lawyers list is a well-regarded resource in our industry,” said Mr. Barry. “We are honored to have four attorneys named to this list, which speaks to the quality and commitment of our firm and its attorneys.”
