Howard Klein concentrates in State and Federal appellate practice, product liability, general liability, medical malpractice, and complex litigation. Mr. Klein joined our firm in 1992 after completing a clerkship with Chief Judge Francis J. Boyle of the U.S. District Court for the District of Rhode Island. From 1992 through 1997, Mr. Klein distinguished himself in the complex litigation arising out of the State’s banking crisis. He successfully prepared numerous cases on behalf of the Rhode Island Depositor’s Economic Protection Corporation at the trial and appellate levels, including director and officer liability and legal malpractice claims.
Upon resolution of the State’s banking crisis, Mr. Klein turned his attention to our seriously injured clients. He now provides outstanding representation to our clients in product liability, general liability, medical malpractice, and intentional misconduct cases. In addition, due to his achievements before the Rhode Island Supreme Court and the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit, Mr. Klein now personally handles almost all appellate matters for our clients.
