Thomas J. Marks

Admissions
Tom Marks has practiced with the firm of Decof & Decof, P.C. since 2007. He is admitted to the practice of law in Rhode Island, Massachusetts and New York, and is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court, District of Rhode Island, and the United States District Court, District of Massachusetts.
Prior to practicing with Decof & Decof, P.C., Mr. Marks was in general practice focusing on real estate, family law, personal injury, civil litigation, and criminal litigation. Prior to this general practice Mr. Marks was a civil litigation associate at Partridge Snow & Hahn in Providence, focusing primarily on employment law, housing law, and eminent domain.
Education
Mr. Marks graduated from Harvard Law School in 2003. In 1998 he graduated from the University of Virginia with high distinction, receiving a B.A. in Government and Foreign Affairs. In May 1998 his senior thesis on the Cuban Missile Crisis of 1962 was recognized as "Most Outstanding Honors Thesis."
Areas of practice
Mr. Marks presently focuses his practice on medical malpractice litigation.

Mr. Marks is a member of the Rhode Island Bar Association, the Massachusetts Bar Association, and the Rhode Island Association for Justice.
